With the rapid development of society in the twenty-one St Century, human ecological civilization and environmental climate will face new challenges, so biotechnology has become a subject of great concern, this paper will discuss the impact of biotechnology on the future of human life and help.

Biotechnology, also known as life science, is the science of studying living things and life phenomena. Its research objects include the living activities of such living things, the occurrence and development of living things and the interaction between living things and living environment. The entire physical world can be divided into abiotic and biotic worlds, and the study of biotechnology includes the highly complex forms of living matter of the entire biological world, in this sense, biology is the most extensive natural science in the field of research because it also designs the non-biological material formation that constitutes the living environment. Since the 1970s, biological science has developed rapidly. At the micro level, biology has moved from the cellular level to the molecular level to explore the nature of life; at the macro level, it is conducting in-depth research from the ecological aspect, it has played an important role in solving the five major global issues raised by the United Nations. Due to the rapid growth of population and the great pressure on the environment and resources caused by the disturbance of human activities, it is urgent for human beings to master the ecological theory to adjust the relationship between man and nature, resources and environment, coordinate the relationship between social economic development and ecological environment to promote sustainable development. It is to solve the five major problems of population explosion, environmental pollution, lack of resources, energy shortage and food crisis, which have been put forward by the United Nations since 1960s.

For example, the food problem, scientists through genetic modification technology, improve the yield and quality of food, production costs are low, relatively high yield, solve the food problem in many areas. But at the same time these biotechnology can not be widely accepted by the public, many people still on the transgenic biotechnology, which has been a controversial topic in society. Genetic Engineering and other biological engineering not only have a far-reaching impact on the development of human society, but also play a significant role in the construction of the entire ecological environment. In addition to the use of genetic engineering to solve the food problem, gene therapy and gene diagnosis is also a major breakthrough in the history of human medicine. This means that the treatment of mankind has entered a new historical stage, but will also face more security and ethical issues, which need the corresponding regulations and regulations to regulate and limit.

The development of new technologies can not be without constraints, such as human cloning, human genetic modification, illegal biological and chemical weapons and other illegal experiments need to be strictly controlled. Otherwise, misuse of biotechnology will bring great disaster to the development of human society, contrary to ethics and normal development, so it needs the government and the whole society to supervise. Sound technology should be applied in sound fields.

However, the development of science is bound to face all kinds of new problems, which is an inevitable condition for social development. The problem of safety and ethics will appear when human beings solve the difficult problem of history through biotechnology, but from the macroscopic angle, the development of biotechnology is more beneficial than harmful. We should look forward to the future with a positive attitude.

After our group discussion, we think that with the shortage of natural resources and the development of biotechnology, the future of food must be dominated by synthetic. We no longer have to process food ourselves, we no longer have to distinguish between ingredients, even meat and vegetables, we no longer have to distinguish between them, we just have to be pure "synthetic food, " and then we have to use industrial spices to create flavors. But at the same time, it loses the pleasure of food itself. Some foods are not necessarily the simplest or the best. So I think in the future there may be a variety of alternatives to what we know today as simple fruits and vegetables.
